LARGEST 5K RUN/WALK

Since inception in 2012 we have donated over $125,000 to our local charities: Watertown Family Aid, Watertown Girls on the Run, Watertown Area YMCA, Crossroads House of Watertown, and Watertown High School Track & Field and Cross-Country teams.

We are 100% non-profit, take nothing for administrative payment, and donate all proceeds to local charity.

2018 Race Directors

With over 1000 participants in 2017 The Run Turkey Run has continued to be the largest charity fitness event in Watertown. It currently consists of a 5k Race (The Run Turkey Run), a 5k walk (The Walk Turkey Walk), and a 1k kids run (Trotter's 1k Fun Run) which will include both Trotter and Santa running along side the kids. The kids run will not start until after the final walker has crossed the finish line so we'll ensure you're back in time to cheer them on!

Race Day Registration from 7:30am-8:45am.

5K Race and Walk start at 9am; Kids 1K starts at 10am.

Awards will be given to the top 3 male and females along with top 3 in each age divison. The course is well-marked and safe. Enjoy music before, during, and after the race. Stick around after the race for fun, fruit, muffins and coffee, and awards.

Every event needs volunteers to make it a success! Our race would not be possible if it were not for the 80-100 volunteers that donate their time Thanksgiving morning. Join us in putting together an event that greatly benefits our community each year. Volunteer assignments include: course marshals; registration desk attendants; food, coffee and water set-up, and more!
